Colors under the Clouds

This rare beauty grows at McFeggans property on Ridges Road, protected behind a fence.
I've always enjoyed photography taking pictures of my family, friends and travel with my automatic camera. In the late 90's I bought my first SLR camera and signed up for a workshop with Hank Erdmann at the Peninsula Art Center. After that I took a class at Lakeshore Tech in Manitowac and learned black and white photography working in the darkroom. Then after a week long workshop in the UP near Munising the following October, I was hooked!
I joined the Sheboygan Camera club, won a few awards becoming more confident in my skills. After retirment my husband and I started spending our winters in Mesa Arizona where I became an active member of the Saguaro Camera Club, going out on shoots with members, sharing and judging other members photos. www.saguarocameraclub.com.
I also started a camera club at our resort in Mesa, chaired the annual photo contest, and teach classes in photography and Photoshop Elements.
We spend our summers in Sheboygan and Door county at the family cabin, winters in Arizona, always on the lookout for the perfect photo-op. Check out my Arizona images on Capturemyarizona.com web site and also my facebook page.
